Ski touring in Scotland is a very active scene. There are many people who manage to sneak a quick skin up a peak after work or those who make a longer trek from else where in the UK for some classic peaks at the weekend.
Ski Mountaineering in Scotland published by the Scottish Mountaineering Council is a comprehensive guide that covers varies routes and trips with photos and route descriptions. It is worth getting if you want some inspiration and guide for ski mountaineering in Scotland.
This site is also attempting to develop a list of possible tours that members have done. They can not act alone as guides, but may again provide inspiration and with map and personal mountaineering knowledge could be viable options.
