Montana Mohair and Synthetic
Montana is a Swiss company that has been producing skins for the last 40 years. Originally they were made from seal skins but now use mohair from the mohair goat. It is a natural fibre and therefore naturally water repellent. They also produce synthetic skins.
The fixations are varied to suit different requirements and skis and they have a specific twin tip fixation.
There are three main types of skin in the Montana range Mohair Sprint (100% mohair) Mohair Mix (70% mohair/30% nylon) and the Montanyl (100% nylon).
