The Mammut Barryvox Pulse
Generally considered to be a transceiver at the top end of the market. It is a digital transceiver with three antenna which means it does all the hard work for you. There is little left to interpretation and it is also capable of telling how deep a person is buried, this is not a feature of two antenna units. The Barryvox can also detect multiple victims and allows you to suppress the found victims signal so you can move on to find the next while other members of the group start digging. This makes it an incredibly effective devise and greatly increases your chance of finding all buried victims within the crucial 15 minute period much more likely. This transceiver is highly popular among Mountain Guides for this reason.
