Colltex Camlock Mix
Colltex are a Swiss brand and as a result make some excellent skins for European conditions. The Camlock Mix as the name suggests is part mohair, part nylon. This mix gives it greater glide action but increases its durability. The camlock is the system used to fix the skins at the base but it is not adjustable like the Black Diamond ones. You adjust the length to fit your ski when you cut them.
Colltex also do a ‘Classic’ model which has no tail hook and both the Classic and Camlock come in Mix (mohair/nylon), Extreme (100% mohair) and Synthetic (100% nylon).
